Port Clyde Maine

On the north east coast it can be a wild and windy place. On occasion , even here the waters can be calm and tranquil, as they were on the morning I was inspired

to start this painting.

You could see and almost feel, every ripple and flow in the slumbering sea.

The little boy throwing a pebble was a bit of artistic licence as I wanted to more clearly depict the calm ocean surface…
